1. Discerning God’s Will | K Hall

God promises to make our paths straight as we trust him with our lives. But, how do we know what God wants us to do when we are faced with big decisions? This seminar explores biblical frameworks and practices for discerning God’s will.

Lindsay Olesberg

2. Discipleship relationship for a pandemic of loneliness* | K 10

A generation with broken relationships and in identity crisis is thirsty for community and truth. A discipleship relationship is sharing life with someone, not expecting them to come to me but going to where they are and intentionally showing them what it means to follow Jesus in their context. It means making prayer and the Bible accessible and understandable and helping them get connected with a local church community. This is a key part of what our Steiger City Teams are doing around the world. We are continually looking for ways to create places and opportunities for these relationships to develop.

Luke Greenwood

3. Acts Of Artists: How Creatives Engage Revival | K 1

Do you dream of making movies, of getting your play on stages, busking inspirational tunes on the busiest walkways of your campus or city, of designing fantastic buildings and the art that hangs on their walls? Have you always wanted to do more creative things in your church, but found yourself halting and nervous about whether they’d be we’ll-received–Or maybe found them not received at all? You might be an artist. Come meet with Alison Siewert and members of the Arts Team. We’ll talk a bit about our experience, about some basic steps you can take, and about how to build practical steps and skills. And we’ll take your questions and talk together about the things that you really want to know.

Alison Siewert

4. How to Discover your God given Calling | K 4

Nothing is more exciting than to find the calling that God has given you. It will give your life identity and purpose. This seminar will teach you some practical steps on how you can discover your calling and how to live it out. We will speak about vision, hearing God’s voice, and important steps in making dreams become reality.

Gernot Elsner

5. Learning to Listen to God’s Voice in Prayer Together | S Revive Our Universities/Spark

1. Making Jesus Accessible through Vibrant Bible Studies* | K 7

How do we engage the living God through Bible discussion that isn’t just about producing “right” answers but rather invites everyone in the group (Christians, seekers, and even us as leaders) to be curious, wrestle with the text, and discover God afresh? We will explore how we meet the Spirit of Jesus in the Bible through learning that is experiential and leadership that is both practically helpful and spiritually alive.

Sherami Hinders

2. Become a disciple maker* | K 8

Would you like to grow as a disciple of Jesus yourself? Then become a disciplemaker! We have learned how to build small communities, where you can learn together with others to win more people for Christ. We involve people from whatever ethnicity they come from. In this way we see God’s Kingdom grow in multicultural Europe. In this seminar we bring together lessons from discipling people from all ethnicities and planting churches in the hard soil of mainland Europe for 25 years.

Theo Visser

3. In Search of Shalom: Race Justice and Revival* | K 9

The focus of In Search of Shalom is to learn about God’s heart for justice, examine forms of oppression we see in the university and larger world around us, and discover the role God would have us play in Revival: Reconciling humanity to his perfect plan, shalom! Shalom refers to wholeness, restoration of relationships, healing, and a true and abiding peace. Every form of oppression we see, every broken relationship with others, with self, with God, and with creation is evidence of broken shalom. In this seminar, we will create a space for honest, in-depth education and discussion of injustice. This will allow Christian students to examine social justice in light of the Gospel and to investigate the role social justice movements may play in the revival we long to see in ourselves, on our campuses, in our nations, and throughout the earth.

4. Highschool Revival – A workshop for Pupils, Parents and (aspiring) Teachers* | DM Foyer

How can I live out my faith at school authentically? Where does Jesus fit into tests, grades, and friends? Faithfully living with Christ and going to school might seem hard to reconcile. But what if I told you that it doesn’t have to be that way?
Jesus is sending you out, right into the Mission-field of your classroom. Come hear, and begin working and praying for a Revival at your school!

🌟1. Doing Justice as God’s People| DM Main Hall

Following Jesus is an invitation to experience God’s powerful Love. This boundless Love impacts every part of us and extends beyond us as well. Love is an unstoppable force for change and continues to move people to work towards this change together, from the early disciples to our present day. It looks personal, social, and political as Love confronts fear, ushers in dignity, and reconciles a broken world. The examples are endless. Come explore together how Salvation is moving us together towards Justice and how you can be part of this Good News.

Christina WĂŒthrich

3.Christian Unity: Does it matter in Evangelism? | K 6

How do we define Christian Unity? The Trinity as anchor; Jesus’ heartbeat (John 17) as motivation. Why should Christian Unity matter in Evangelism? What are the ingredients to help foster Christian Unity? How do those ingredients enhance and advance Evangelism today?

Marcus Baeder

4.Why nature points to God and how to talk about it* | K 5

Nature is created by God and points to God as creator. Our friends who don’t believe in God have the same access to the natural world as us, which gives a common basis to start from in conversations about the way the world is. We introduce some reasons from the Bible for expecting to find pointers to God in nature, and some pointers from our research fields – astrophysics and evolutionary genetics.

🌟1. The Most Important Thing in the World! How to hear the voice of God for your life, your future, and your campus. | DM Main Hall

Nothing matters more than learning to hear God’s voice for yourself. It’s the key to guidance, to effectiveness and to a real relationship with God. Jesus says it’s the mark of his true disciples (John 10:27). In this workshop Pete Greig will draw from ancient wisdom of the church, and 23 years leading a prayer movement, to help you grow in spiritual discernment, in prophecy, and in your love for the Bible.

2. The power of Bible stories to reach out to refugees and international students* | K 4

Our European cities are full of international students, refugees, and migrants, many of whom have never had the chance to meet Christians or hear the gospel message. Around the world, there are huge numbers of people coming to faith, especially from Muslim backgrounds, but we don’t hear so much about outreach efforts here in our European cities. What does it mean to make disciples from some of the least reached nations who live here on our doorstep? Is it really true that God can use me to be of help in their journey to meet the Messiah?
Join Dan and Jelle to hear about stories of how God is working among refugees and international students in Germany and Belgium, leading to multiple baptisms and whole family networks across the world being touched.
They will introduce a video-based tool called ‘Al Massira’ which is available in over 35 languages, which guides people through Biblical prophet stories, from Noah, Abraham, and Moses all the way through to Jesus the Messiah. https://almassira.org

EUROPE

1. Revival: History, Theology, and the Heart | K Hall

Revival or Awakening has become popular among Christians. Revivalists are sometimes accused of producing fake expectations. Stephen Tan writes: “There is a huge difference between revival and revivalism. One comes from God, the other is of human origin.“ (TGCA, 2018) In this seminar, we will analyze Revivals in the bible and church history and look for a biblical basis. In Scotland, I dedicated a lot of time studying Jonathan Edwards. He had revivals in his genes. No 18th-century figure thought more about revivals. “There was never a day that he did not write, work, and preach to promote revival.“ (Stout). He faced similar accusations and had surprising responses. We will also learn from him how to promote and stir revivals in our own context.

2. Revive as a Movement: Be a Revival Ambassador | DM Foyer

Do you desire an actual, real revival in the student generation? What is revival? What is your vision for your city, for your university or work place, for Europe? What is your mission in life that you live for? What are you willing to do about it? How can we be together in this, linking arms across our nations and across our various groups? We have an incredible opportunity in this day and age via digital communication and easy travels to stand together as one body of Christ – and it’s so much more fun! We are so much better together! If you want to explore what it can mean to be an ambassador for revival in your city or nation, linked with like-minded and like-hearted emerging leaders across Europe, come to this seminar and let’s discover how to embody the Revive movement together!

After all, whose idea is it for humans to be busy working? What does the Bible teach us about work? Is God somehow concerned about our daily working life given that 60% of a human’s life is filled with it?
