Volunteer

A FEW DAYS OF SERVICE.
THOUSANDS OF LIVES TRANSFORMED.

Next December, go behind the scenes as God moves at Revive by serving as a volunteer.

HEROES COME IN ALL SHAPES & SIZES

Whatever gifts & skills you have to offer, you can be part of something bigger at Revive.

You’ll enjoy team spirit, personal development, and even save on registration!

I love volunteering because I get to meet and learn from other incredible volunteers as I grow in service. I do things that help participants have a great experience; even though they may not notice, God sees!

VOLUNTEER FAQ

If your question is not answered below, please contact us at volunteer-coordination@reviveeurope21.org

IF I VOLUNTEER, CAN I ATTEND PROGRAMMING SUCH AS SEMINARS AND PLENARY SESSIONS?

Depending on your task, you will be able to attend some, but not all program points. We will try to distribute the shifts equally among all volunteers, so everyone gets the chance to be part of the program. You will not go home spiritually hungry, though! We will provide volunteer devotionals in the morning, so you are well equipped to build God’s kingdom at Revive and when you go home.

HOW MUCH TIME WILL I BE WORKING?

As a logistics volunteer, you’ll be helping approximately 8 hours per day, including shorter and longer breaks. Prayer teams and small group leaders will serve for shorter shifts; time varies by type of team. There will be plenty of time for you to enjoy Revive with your friends and attend parts of the Revive program.

CAN I VOLUNTEER PART TIME?

If you live close to Karlsruhe and are not able to attend the conference, you are very welcome to give us a hand part time.

DO I HAVE TO PAY SOMETHING?

Logistics heroes will pay the lowest rate of 99€; if you cannot afford the 99€ rate, please contact us. We kindly ask Prayer and Small Group heroes to pay the full conference fee in order to keep the conference affordable for student participants and to offer scholarships. This covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and accommodation in the volunteer area of the sleeping halls.

WHERE WILL I BE SLEEPING?

There will be a volunteer area in both the female and male sleeping halls. This area will be separated by curtains, and therefore darker and quieter than the rest of the hall, so you can recover well at night. If you prefer not to sleep in the sleeping hall, you can book an external accommodation on your own cost (see list of recommended hotels here).

DO I GET TO SKIP THE WAITING LINE FOR THE MEALS?

Only people with a limited amount of time available are allowed to skip the waiting line before each meal. If you do not have an urgent task waiting for you, you are requested to wait for your turn with everyone else. Don’t forget: You can have great conversations with people standing in front of and behind you in the line. Don’t miss out on that!

CAN I SPECIFY MY PREFERENCES FOR THE TYPE OF REVIVE HERO I WANT TO BE?

There are various areas and tasks for which many helping hands are needed. If you have any preferences, you will be able to specify them in the Sign Up to Be a Revive Hero form. Volunteering for a prayer team or small group leadership may require previous experience; the team leader will contact you for additional information after you sign up.

WHO AM I GOING TO WORK WITH?

We will be a diverse team of volunteers coming from all over Europe to help make this conference work. If you want to work together with a friend, you can let our Volunteer Coordination team know. They will gladly try to plan the shifts so you can enjoy working together.

WILL I GET A CERTIFICATE FOR MY WORK?

If you need a volunteer certificate, you can send an e-mail to logistics@reviveeurope21.org. We will get in touch with you and make the necessary arrangements for you to get a certificate.

FROM WHOM DO I GET ALL THE IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING MY ROLE AT REVIVE? WHO CAN I CONTACT IF I HAVE FURTHER QUESTIONS?

Your team leader should provide you with all necessary information about your particular role. In addition, Luca and Hannah from the Volunteer Coordination team are able to answer your questions. You can write them an e-mail at volunteer-coordination@reviveeurope21.org
